Etsuko YASHIKI GOOD
(Founder/Interpreter/Translator/Cultural Consultant/Educator)
A native of Japan, Ms. Good was educated in both Japan and the U.S. She holds a B.A. from Doshisha University, Kyoto, and two M.A.’s from Ohio University, Ohio in Linguistics and International Affairs. After working for major international companies and experiencing poor communication due to language and cultural barriers, she founded her own Japanese <> English interpreting and translation company in 1998 to help bridge the gap between the English and Japanese languages.
With extensive knowledge and experience working within the interpreting and translation industry for over 25 years, she believes she can be a great asset to your successful business and mission.
It is her passion to help her clients fully understand the communication that can lead to her clients having a “light bulb” or “aha!” moment. She loves to see that moment on a client’s face, which is the most rewarding moment for her.
